Siesta

The river is wilder than ever before. Barges charge up and down the channel, churning up the current. No more damns to slow the flow.

Since St. Louis, our work has taken a different tone. The end is in sight. We both want to finish strong.

Jane:
The dog is faring well. She is perfectly confident in the water now, swimming circles around the canoe.
