Pork Steak

Some of our followers may have noticed that we haven't posted an update in a while. We have been living in the lap of luxury here in St. Louis. A much needed chance to recharge, the thought of working these past few days seemed wrong.

We are now starting the second half of this amazing journey down the Mississippi. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!

Saint Louis Hospitality:
Friends of the family, Lenny and Susie, took us into their home which we used as base camp for the past three days. We even received fresh St. Louis fades at their beauty salon, Salon Two Seventy-Eight.

The Heat:
A heat bubble has been assaulting us with hundred degree-plus days. It has become relatively unproductive to paddle in the heat of the day; this has lead us to get creative with our paddle schedule. A recent moonlight paddle proved an exhilarating experience.
