Things are going to plan so far, our gear is holding up nicely.
Our bodies on the other hand, not so much. Bug bites, cuts, scrapes, blisters and the heat of the sun are all challenging us.
Tonight we camp at Star Island in Cass Lake, MN. Local lore tells us that it's one of the few islands in the world with its own lake, Lake Windigo.
Tomorrow we have our longest paddle yet planned. After honing our paddling skills for the past 6 days, we are looking to paddle about 30 miles to the east side of Lake Winnibigoshish to the Tamarack Point Campground.
Time to rest...
